Flint River Trail
The Flint River Trail begins near downtown at the University of Michigan-Flint campus and heads north along both sides of the Flint River to Bluebell Beach on the reservoir. Another segment takes you to Stepping Stones Falls. From there, you can take sidewalks and/or the road to pick up the trail again at E. Coldwater Road and carry on to Genesee. Along the way, you will pass through older neighborhoods, a few city parks and learn about Flint's heritage from wayside historical signs. At E. Boulevard Drive, you can take an out-and-back side trip through Kearsley Park.
Note: Not all sections of each trail are approved for every activity listed for the trail as a whole. Please click on individual trail sections to see approved activities for that section.
