Fochtman

With 243 acres of wetlands, uplands, and shoreline, this preserve offers a natural buffer in a highly developing region. Fochtman has more than ¼ mile on Round Lake and a stream that flows from Round Lake to Crooked Lake. A short trail follows the lake and an old two-track road enters the property from the east; both have rustic parking. The North Country Trail also runs adjacent to the property along the south shore of Round Lake.
