This two mile route features historical displays outlining the history of the city and the Straits area. Take the two mile self-guided walking tour which takes visitors around Mackinaw City to enjoy its scenic beauty while learning about the area’s rich history at the 50+ historical markers. Visit the Old Mackinac Point Historic Lighthouse and Colonial Michilimackinac, learn about Alexander Henry, the glacial history of the region and much more while enjoying the unparalleled scenery.
