Located on an island in Crooked Lake, the Oden Island Nature Preserve has a mile of undeveloped waterfront for visitors to enjoy. Foot trails meander through this 50-acre preserve of old growth trees and wetland and skirt the Crooked Lake shoreline.

Access the island via Oden Island Rd. Once on the island, turn right on Leeward Dr. and go until it dead ends at the trailhead and parking lot. The preserve can also be a fun kayak destination from Oden.
