Sleeping Bear Dunes - Old Indian Trail

Located at the southern end of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Old Indian Trail offers a gentle trek through evergreen and hardwood forest. There are two loops, each of about 2.5 miles. The easier Green Arrow loop is first and is flat to gently rolling. The Black Arrow loop is more hilly. At the western junction, a trail splits off towards Lake Michigan. Follow this trail up a dune for a great view of the Lake. Continue through low and open dunes to the shore. Check out MichiganTrailMaps.com for more trail info and a detailed map.
