Spring Brook Pathway
The trail at Spring Brook varies from flat to hilly terrain and passes through a variety of landscapes. Follow two-tracks through hardwoods; walk amidst cedars along the stream; cross footbridges; follow an old railroad grade; climb through dense woods and along a steep ridge; pass through open meadow and more. The trail is five miles round trip and includes two loops. The most difficult portions of the trail are furthest from the trailhead. The first loop provides a short and easy option for visitors. However, the western half of this loop follows the stream through cedar swamp and can be very wet and buggy. This scenic lowland is often most appreciated by cross country skiers and snowshoers.
