TART Trails - Boardman Lake Trail
The Boardman Lake Trail runs along the east shore of Boardman Lake. This heavily wooded trail is part of the TART trail network, an urban transportation and recreational corridor developed for walking, biking, running, in-line skating, and commuting in Grand Traverse and Leelanau Counties. The Boardman Lake Trail grants easy access to the public library, Medalie and Hull Parks, and city neighborhoods. Access sites and parking areas are located at the north and south end of Boardman Lake. To the north, parking is available off of Hannah Road, just south of the Traverse Area District Library. The south entrance is located in the Logan’s Landing area, next to Medalie Park.
Note: Not all sections of each trail are approved for every activity listed for the trail as a whole. Please click on individual trail sections to see approved activities for that section.
